DAY 1, Maputo

An airport transfer takes us to our hotel in Maputo, Mozambique’s vibrant capital, overlooking the Indian Ocean. We explore this Afro-Portuguese city on an afternoon tour and have free time this evening to enjoy the cafes, bars, restaurants and markets.

DAY 2, Catembe, Salamanga Bay, Maputo Elephant Reserve, Ponta Mamoli

We drive to Catembe and Salamanga Bay to see its impressive Hindu Temple before entering the Maputo Elephant Reserve for a game drive. Here we hope to spot elephant as well as hippo, crocodile, red duiker, vervet and samango monkeys. Leaving the park we head south to our beach haven.

DAYS 3 - 5, Ponta Mamoli

We relax and lap up life by the ocean and unspoiled beaches of Ponta Mamoli. The nearby reef is in excellent condition, encouraging schools of fish, dolphins and whales to the area. Conditions allowing, we will take a boat cruise out into the bay to swim with dolphins. Diving, snorkelling, horse riding, surfing and deep sea fishing are all optional activities here. Or just relax by the swimming pool and bar!

DAYS 6 - 7, Maputo

After a relaxed morning we return to Maputo for an evening of leisure. The final day relax before your transfer back to the airport.
