Explore
the pyramids, temples and tombs of ancient Egypt from a Nile cruise
boat and luxurious hotels - extend this tour with a few relaxing days
on the Red Sea.
Day
1 - 3, Cairo
On arrival in Cairo you will be transferred from the airport to
your hotel, and over the next couple of days explore the highlights
of this hugely intriguing ancient city. Visit the spectacular pyramids
and sphinx, the imposing Citadel, the frantic Khan al Khalili Bazaar,
and Egyptian Museum. From Cairo travel south to Aswan on the overnight
sleeper train.
Day
4 - 8, Aswan, Nile cruise, Luxor
In Aswan, transfer to your comfortable cabin on a Nile cruise boat
for a four night cruise along the Nile to Luxor. Explore the sights
around Aswan including the serene Philae Temple, the Aswan High
Dam and Lake Nasser. You can also take an optional excursion to
Abu Simbel to see the incredible statues of Ramses, before our cruise
boat takes us along the Nile via Edfu and the splendid riverside
temple of Komombo, to the ancient tombs and monuments of Luxor.
Visit the fascinating pharohs’ tombs in the valleys of the
Kings and Queens including that of Tutankhamen and enjoy the atmospheric
sound and light show at the mysterious Karnak Temple.

9 - 12, Hurghada
After exploring ancient Egypt, we offer four days at the heart of
the beautiful Red Sea resort of Hurghada. Here you can enjoy the
pool and the beach or try out scuba diving on the pristine and colourful
coral reefs.

13 - 14, Cairo
Back in Cairo you have a free day or take an optional excursion
to Alexandria on the coast
