Day 1 - 3, Nairobi, Samburu Game Reserve
We have a whole day free to explore the bustling city of Nairobi. The next day we pass Mt. Kenya en route to the open savannah of Samburu Game Reserve. Enjoy a full day of game viewing along the river banks and surrounding scrublands.
Day 4 - 7, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara
Leaving Samburu we drive south to our beautiful lodge in the Aberdare National Park. Our accommodation overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, attracting animals throughout the day and night. The next morning it’s onto Lake Nakuru National Park to enjoy an afternoon game drive. The following day travel south to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Spend the next day on game drives exploring this picturesque part of Kenya.
Day 8 - 9, Masai Mara, Nairobi, Lake Manyara
We return to Nairobi to overnight before travelling across the Tanzania border to Arusha, and onto Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.
Day 10 - 14, Serengeti NP, Olduvai Gorge, Ngorongoro Crater, Arusha, Nairobi
Onward to the open savannahs of the famous Serengeti National Park, whose plains are amongst the finest game viewing areas in the world. We then make our way to the Ngorongoro Crater, via Olduvai Gorge. The next morning we descend the dramatic walls of the Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site that supports one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. We have an early start to get to Arusha to catch the shuttle bus back to Nairobi where the tour ends.
