Experience the beauty of South Africa; stunning scenery and the 'Big 5' in one trip!
Day 1 - 2, Hazyview, Mpumalanga Region
You will be collected from Nelspruit/KMI Airport and transferred to your quiet country Inn just outside Hazyview where you will be accommodated for 4 nights. The thatched homestead has long views over the Sabie River Valley and offers individually furnished bedrooms, extensive gardens, spectacular birdlife, a sparkling pool and sundowners on the veranda. After breakfast on day two enjoy a full day Panorama Tour. Visit the Blyde River Canyon to view stunning rock formations and view sites, such as God's Window, Wonderview, Bourke's Luck Potholes and The Three Rondavels. The tour also includes a visit to the town of Pilgrim's Rest where gold was first discovered in South Africa. You will return to Hazyview to enjoy sundowners before dinner.
Day 3 - 5, Kruger National Park, White Water Rafting or Horse Trail, Kruger National Park
We leave at dawn for a morning excursion into the Kruger National Park. The Kruger is home to the Big Five - lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard and much more besides. Return to Hazyview at lunchtime for an afternoon at leisure by the pool. The following morning you have a choice of either an exhilarating white water rafting trip on the Sabie River (in season) or, alternatively, a two-hour horse trail. Around 15:30 travel back to the Kruger National Park for a sunset game drive. You may be lucky enough to see lion, leopard and other nocturnal predators before enjoying sundowners in the bush and then returning to the Hazyview for dinner. On the final day after breakfast you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight
