Day 1 - 2, Johannesburg, Windhoek, Namib Desert
After a midday departure from Johannesburg we arrive in Windhoek, Namibia's capital in the late afternoon where you are transferred to your centrally located hotel. The following day takes us southward, via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass and Solitaire to our lodge situated in the beautiful Namib Desert.
Day 3 - 5, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund
Our time in the desert is spent exploring the Namib-Naukluft National Park to watch the sun rays change this desolate place into a thing of beauty. We drive to Sossusvlei, a clay bottom pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world and after check out Sesriem Canyon. Next we journey to the refreshing Atlantic Ocean coastline and the seaside resort of Swakopmund, where many activities are available to us to enjoy.
Day 6 - 9, Etosha National Park, Windhoek, Johannesburg
From the coast we head north, past Spitzkoppe to the popular Etosha National Park, famous for its floodlit waterholes.We spend our time here on morning and afternoon game drives and gaze in wonder how this arid region supports so much wildlife Our tour ends on the morning of day nine with our flight back to Johannesburg after spending the previous night in a game ranch lodge at the foot of the Eros Mountains.
