Explore the mighty Zambezi River as it crashes over the Victoria Falls in Zambia, on a short break that blends exciting adventure activities with natural beauty.

Day 1, Johannesburg, Livingstone
On arrival at Livingstone Airport you will be met and transferred to your riverside chalets on the banks of the mighty Zambezi. There’s time to relax before taking a sunset cruise on the river in the late afternoon, a wonderfully relaxing way to view game on the river’s edge and take in the sights and sounds of magical Africa.

Day 2, Canoe safari / white water rafting/elephant trail
Today you can choose to either spend the day canoeing on the upper Zambezi or go white water rafting on the Grade 4 - 5 rapids at the bottom of the Victoria Falls or mingle with a herd of elephants in their own environment, the choice is yours! The canoe safari explores the reed covered islands and game-rich riverbanks, and this is an enjoyable way to get close to the animals, especially crocodiles and hippo. On the rafting trip, get wet and wild in the foamy rapids of the Zambezi and enjoy the scenery of sheer cliffs and giant boulders from the bottom of the Bakota Gorge. Those wanting something a little more sedate but no less exciting we recommend the highly rewarding elephant encounter. We walk with these gentle giants through African bushveld learning a little about their nature along the way.

Day 3, Victoria Falls, Livingstone
There are many optional activities on offer centred around the Victoria Falls area. A visit to the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park is a must to witness the spectacle of the Falls themselves. Alternatively, bungy off the Livingstone Bridge, take a scenic helicopter flight above the Falls, test your courage with an abseil or gorge-swing, or go horse or elephant riding through the bush. The choice is yours!

Day 4, Livingstone, Johannesburg
After all the adrenalin-pumping adventure, you are taken to the airport to catch your return flight to Johannesburg.
