A fascinating safari combining the might of the Zambezi River and dramatic Victoria Falls, with the serene Chobe River and a host of diverse wildlife.

Day 1, Johannesburg, Livingstone
On arrival at Livingstone Airport you will be met and transferred to your riverside chalets. Relax by the pool on the waterfront before enjoying a late afternoon sunset cruise. Look out for game at the river’s edge and celebrate a dramatic African sunset with a sundowner.

Day 2, Canoe safari/white water rafting/elephant trail
Today you can choose to either spend the day canoeing on the upper Zambezi, white water rafting on the Grade 4 - 5 rapids or mingle with a herd of elephants. The canoe safari explores the reed covered islands and game-rich riverbanks. On the rafting trip, enjoy the scenery of sheer cliffs, and giant boulders from the bottom of the Bakota Gorge. Those wanting something a little more sedate but no less exciting we recommend the highly rewarding elephant encounter. We walk with these gentle giants through African bushveld learning a little about their nature along the way.

Day 3, Victoria Falls, Livingstone
From Livingstone there are many optional activities on offer. Today is yours at leisure and is your opportunity to try bungy jumping, abseiling or gorge swinging, or for the less active a visit to the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park to see the incredible Falls, a scenic flight by helicopter or small plane, or a horse or elephant ride through the bush.

Day 4 -5 , Chobe National Park
We transfer to a riverside lodge in neighbouring Botswana bordering Chobe National Park, home to a wealth of game including lion, buffalo, many species of antelope, and most famously elephant. We take an early morning game drive and an afternoon cruise on the Chobe River in the hope of spotting the animals coming down for a drink.

Day 6, Livingstone, Johannesburg
From Chobe you are transferred to Livingstone Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg.
