Day 1, Marrakech
This day is yours at leisure to explore the heart and soul of Marrakech, Djemma el Fna Square that comes alive at night with snake charmers and story tellers.
Day 2, Ouirgane Mountain Bike
Outside the main tourist routes, we base ourselves
in a small Berber village in a mountainous region of Toubkal to do our mountain biking excursion. Endowed with spectacular scenery we bike down mountains, through valleys and across rivers making a dramatic descent into Asni. This is a great mountain biking route suitable for novices and weekend riders alike.
Days 3 - 4, High Atlas Trek
We drive up the Atlas Mountains to the village of Imil where we will store our main luggage and with just a day pack we make the 1 hour climb to Aremd. We awake early on day four and set off on a trek through the mountain scenery of the Tamatert Valley. An amazing place of scenic beauty and a photographers dream.
Days 6 - 7, The Gorges
Leaving early we drive along the road of a '1000 Kasbahs' and on to the beautiful Dades Gorge. This valley is flanked on both sides by high limestone cliffs and bizarre rock formations. We trek to our nomad tent accommodation where you can try your hand at cooking some traditional meals and enjoy a dinner with a view in the beautiful mountain setting.
Day 8 - 9, Marrakech
We have a relatively short drive back to Marrakech where you will have plenty of time to do any last minute shopping in the souks before our tour ends the following day.
