Explore the diversities that Egypt has to offer as you travel from sweltering deserts to the refreshing waters of the Red Sea.
Day 1 - 2, Cairo, Pyramids and Sphinx
Upon arrival you are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel and the rest of the afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. The following day visit Cairo's famous pyramids around Giza and Saqqara with an Egyptologist.
Day 3, Baharya Oasis
From bustling Cairo, we drive west into the barren, desolate, and eerily beautiful Egyptian Western Desert. This is a vast expanse that starts on the western banks of the Nile and continues into Libya covering some 2.8 million sq km. Our first stop is the Baharya Oasis famous for its dates, wine and hot springs, surrounded by golden sand littered with tiny glittering black basalt stones.
Day 4 - 6, White Desert, Farafra, Dakhla & Kharga Oases
We explore the White and Black deserts by 4x4 jeep to discover landscapes that looks like the moon's surface with curiously shaped rocks. We spend one night camping out in the White Desert under an enormous starry sky. Dakhla & Kharga Oases are explored during our time in the desert with archeological sites of Hibis, Al Bagawat, Mut,
Al Qasr visited.
Day 7 - 8, Luxor, Cairo
We travel to Luxor and explore the east and west banks, including Luxor and Karnak Temples and Valley of the Kings and Queens.
Day 9 - 13, Luxor, Red Sea
We have the whole day to explore Luxor further whether it is the markets or museums, felucca trip or hot air ballooning. Tonight we travel overnight by coach to the Red Sea. We have four magnificent days around this seaside resort and most activities are based around water.
Day 14 - 15, Cairo
We travel back to Cairo, arriving in the mid afternoon where the rest of your time is free. The following day we are transferred to the airport where arrangements end.
