Combine the scenic wonders of Mpumalanga with spectacular game drives in Kruger National Park, South Africa's premier wildlife region.
DAY
1, Mpumalanga, Bushveld Lodge
From Johannesburg, depart in the morning for a full days sightseeing in Mpumalanga. Along the way visit the scenic village of Dullstroom, the historic gold mining town of Pilgrims Rest, Bourkes Luck Potholes and the spectacular Blyde River Canyon. Then descend the escarpment to the lowveld where you stay overnight at the Bush Lodge close to Kruger National Park.
DAY 2, Kruger Private Game Reserve
Start the day with a game walk with an experienced guide and tracker, before returning to camp for brunch. Relax in the middle of day before a late afternoon game drive that continues well after dark giving you the opportunity to spot nocturnal animals. Back at camp enjoy a traditional South African bush braai (BBQ).
DAY 3, Kruger National Park
Today we head into the heart of neighbouring Kruger National Park to spend an unforgettable time game viewing in the park, and overnight in bungalows in one of the Kruger's rest camps.
DAY 4, Hazyview
After an early morning game drive, leave the park and drive to the sleepy settlement of Hazyview, famous for its craft shops and surrounded by forests perfect for walking and swimming in the cool streams. We overnight in a beautiful log cabin built on stilts in the sub tropical indigenous forest near the Sabie River.
Day
5, Johannesburg
After a relaxed start to the day, we leave Mpumalanga and arrive back in Johannesburg in the late afternoon.
