This
diverse itinerary covers the highlights of KwaZulu Natal, Big 5
game viewing and the Zulu culture.
Day 1, Lake St Lucia, Sand Forest
Departing Durban we travel north into Zululand to Lake St. Lucia. Our first highlight is a boat cruise on one of the world’s largest wetland ecosystem which is a World Heritage Site. Look out for the many hippo and crocodile that inhabit the waters of the lake. This afternoon walk through a sand forest, wetlands and enjoy sundowners at the end of an action packed day.
Day 2, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi
We game drive through the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve, one of South Africa’s oldest and most prolific parks, home to the Big 5 and one third of the world’s rhino population.
Day 3, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi, Durban
After an early morning and afternoon game drive on the look out for lion and cheetah we travel back to Durban
