Enjoy the colourful sights of the ‘Rainbow Nation’ - South Africa. Add in the exotic countries of Mozambique and Swaziland and you have an unbeatable tour itinerary.
DAY 1 - 2, Mpumalanga, Kruger National Park
Leaving Johannesburg we visit the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels and Bourkes Luck Potholes. Then it's on to our private game reserve bordering Kruger. Following day we travel to the Kruger National Park where our time here is game driving in the morning and late afternoon.
DAY 3- 4, Mozambique, Maputo
Today we enter into Mozambique and travel to its capital, Maputo. The city exudes character and has a unique vibe. Great bars, cuisine, markets, restaurants and nightlife are here for you to explore.
DAY 5, Swaziland, Milwane National Park
We travel the short distance to the Kingdom of Swaziland. We spend a night in Mlilwane National Park surrounded by antelope and zebra. Here you have the option of experiencing the culture with a tribal dancing performance tonight (own expense).
DAY 6 - 7, KwaZulu Natal, Hluhluwe Game Reserve, Durban
We enter the province of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa to overnight in the St Lucia region. The following day we take a morning game drive into Hluhluwe Game Reserve, the oldest game reserve in South Africa famous for having the largest population of rhino in the world. This afternoon we wind our way down the coast and the seaside playground of Durban.
DAY 8 - 9, Wild Coast
Departing Durban we travel through the Wild Coast, formally known as the Transkei, where Nelson Mandela was born. We have two nights in beautiful Cintsa, a charming little town with beautiful beaches and many optional activities to pursue including horse riding, canoeing and surfing.
DAY 10 - 12, Addo Elephant Park, Tsitsikamma, Knysna
Addo Elephant Park marks the beginning of our journey along the Garden Route. We arrive in time to have a game drive in the afternoon here. The next day we explore Tsitsikamma forest where steep forests meet the pounding Indian Ocean. You have the opportunity to jump off the highest bungy jump in the world off the Storms River Bridge before spending two nights in the quaint picturesque town of Knysna.
DAY 13 - 14, Oudtshoorn, Cango Caves, Winery, Cape Town
Our penultimate day on tour we visit a commercial ostrich farm to learn about the largest bird on earth and may even ride one before discovering the unusual rock formations of the Cango Caves. Our final day on tour we visit a winery before arriving in Cape Town in the late afternoon where our tour ends
