DAY 1 - 2, Antananarivo, Antsirabe
Upon arrival in the capital of Antananarivo you are met and transferred to your hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure. The following day we travel to Antsirabe were we explore the town and take in a visit to the precious stone merchants where you can purchase some desirable souvenirs.

DAY 3 - 4, Ambositra, Ranamafana National Park, Fianarantsoa
Today we travel to Ranamafana National Park via the wood carving village of Ambositra. Ranamafana offers us the chance to enjoy a nocturnal guided walk in search of lemurs and the following morning we specifically trek in search of the elusive Golden Bamboo Lemur. Next it's onto Fianarantsoa and the tea plantations nearby.

DAY 5 - 9, Ambalavao, Isalo National Park, Ifaty
We visit the paper-making town of Ambalavao, en route to Ranohira near Isalo National Park. We have two days walking in Isalo National Park, home to rare plants and numerous lemurs. Heading to the coast we visit the Arboretum of Antsokay before going on to our hotel bungalows on the beach near Ifaty. We have a full day to enjoy beach activities or take a walk to the nearby spiny forest.

DAY 10 - 12, Fort Dauphin, Berenty Lemur Reserve
We fly to Fort Dauphin where we have free time to explore the town. The following morning we travel to the private Berenty Lemur Reserve to overnight. Here we go on guided day and night walks to see the Ring Tailed lemurs and sifakas. We return to Fort Dauphin the next day where you have time to relax.

DAY 13 - 15, Antananarivo, Perinet National Park
We fly back to Antananarivo where you have the rest of the day to explore the town. The following day we visit Mandraka Butterfly and Chameleon Centre then onto Perinet National Park for a guided nocturnal walk within the park to hear the Indri lemur. Our last day of tour includes another guided walk, this time to see the amazing Indri, biggest of all the lemurs, followed by lunch. We return to Antananarivo where our tour ends in the early afternoon.
