The Masai Mara with rolling plains, winding rivers and the 'Big 5'; a perfect safari in Kenya's most famous park for those with limited time or budget.
Day 1, Masai Mara
Departing from Nairobi, stop en-route to view the spectacular Great Rift Valley, dotted with traditional Masai settlements and lakes inhabited by thousands of flamingos. On the floor of the valley, pass through the Masai town of Narok and reach our camp conveniently located on the edge of the reserve.
Day 2 - 3, Masai Mara
The 'Mara' is many people's idea of 'classic Africa', rolling green hills, vast open horizons and plains stocked with wildlife. Game drives give us ample opportunity to search for the Big 5 - leopard, lion, elephant, rhino and buffalo, as well as numerous grazing animals such as wildebeest, zebra and giraffe. The 'Mara' is also home to good stocks of hippo and crocodile in the Mara River and an enormous variety of bird life.
Day 4, Masai Mara
Leaving the 'Mara', drive back through Narok where we stop for your opportunity to shop for colourful Masai jewellery and blankets, before continuing to Nairobi where our safari ends.
