Experience the highlights of Namibia! This trip explores the sights of this spectacular country from the dune ridden south to game filled arid north.

Day 1, Africat Foundation
Leaving Windhoek we head north to the Africat Foundation via Okahanja, Namibia's largest wood carving market. This afternoon get up close and personal to a number of big cats which are being rehabilitated after being rescued form various desperate situations.

Day 2 - 3, Etosha National Park
Continuing north, visit the mysterious Lake Otjikoto, Namibia's largest permanent natural lake before arriving at Etosha National Park for two full days of game viewing to see abundant wildlife. We camp close to floodlit waterholes where you may see rhino and elephant come down to drink during the night.

Day 4 - 5, Damaraland, Oase Himba, Brandenburg
Today we visit a tradition Himba community to meet with the locals. The following day we travel to one of the most beautiful regions in Namibia, Damaraland where we visit the Petrified Forest and Twyfelfontein rock paintings before camping in the shadow of the Brandenburg Mountain.

Day 6 - 7, Cape Cross, Swakopmund
After a morning hike and visit to Uis, an old mining town, we seek the cooling breeze of the Atlantic Ocean. We first visit Cape Cross to view (and smell!) thousands of seals before travelling a short distance down the coa st to Swakopmund. This is Namibia's adventure capital and offers fantastic optional activities such as sky-diving, dune boarding and quad biking to explore the nearby dunes. If you have a little less energy simply relax on the beaches or enjoy the lively bars and restaurants.

Day 8 - 9, Walvis Bay, Sesriem, Namib - Naukluft Park
A short drive down the coast takes us to Walvis Bay where we stop to view the birdlife at a large marine lagoon before travelling to Sesriem, the gateway to the spectacular sand dune desert of the Namib-Naukluft Park. This park boasts the highest sand dunes in the world which we get to climb for the spectacular views at sunrise and enjoy the thrills of sliding back down.

Day 10, Windhoek
Leaving Sesriem, we travel through the Naukluft Mountains to Windhoek where our tour ends.
