Egypt, a land of mystery and ancient civilisations. Explore the pyramids of Cairo and the Red Sea resort of Dahab.
Day 1 - 2, Cairo, Pyramids and Sphinx
On arrival in Cairo, you are transferred from the airport to your hotel. The following day is spent visiting the pyramids at Gisa, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum with an Egyptologist.
Day 3 - 6, Dahab
After an overnight coach journey you arrive in the Bedouin village of Dahab for five days on the beach enjoying the beautiful Red Sea. Dahab means 'gold' in Arabic, and in the Sinai it means golden sands, turquoise sea, stunning sunsets, and relaxing café life. Dahab is an excellent place for water sports and a perfect location for windsurfing. We have included several excursions during your stay here but there is plenty of free time to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. We take you snorkelling at the famous Blue Hole, an 80m deep crystal clear pool and on a unique excursion by camel to see the sunset in the desert. We also take you on a 4x4 jeep safari to the Ain Khudra Oasis and Coloured Canyon where you can meet the nomadic Bedouin people and enjoy lunch under the date and palm trees, before heading to Dolphin Beach to hopefully swim with Oleen, the resident dolphin. In your free time you can
scuba dive or arrange a visit to Mt. Sinai & St. Catherine's monastery.
Day 7 - 8, Cairo
We drive back to Cairo in the late afternoon. The following morning you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
