The vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Durban is the seaside holiday playground of the south coast of South Africa. Combine time on the balmy Indian Ocean beach with an informative tour of the Valley of a Thousand Hills, KwaZulu Natal’s Zulu stronghold.

Day 1, Durban
On arrival at Durban Airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore your surroundings, visit Durban’s magnificent beach, and perhaps sample some seafood or a famous Durban curry in one of the local restaurants.

Day 2, Durban
Depart on your full day tour of the Valley of a Thousand Hills, the Zulu stronghold in the picturesque hills above Durban, dotted with farms and Zulu settlements. The Zulu people live their lives in the traditional way, and on the tour you will visit a Zulu village with a community guide who will explain some of the history and culture of the Zulus. On the way back to Durban, we stop to take in the views of the Valley of a Thousand Hills and stop for a swim in the Umgeni River. Spend another relaxing evening in Durban and enjoy the excellent restaurants and nightlife.

Day 3, Transfer
Today, you are transferred to Durban Airport to meet your connecting flight.
