search for the Big 5 in Kruger National Park from the comfort of
a country inn
Day
1, Hazyview
You are transferred from the airport and the rest of the day is
at leisure to enjoy your surroundings and the facilities of the
country inn, and in the evening a delicious dinner in the top class
restaurant.
Day
2, Panorama region, Hazyview
Explore the Panorama region made famous by its impressive mountains,
lofty passes, dramatic valleys, rivers and forests. The Blyde River
Canyon is the third largest canyon in the world and there are some
fabulous viewpoints at the top. Also visit the old gold mining village
of Pilgrim’s Rest where the quaint Victorian miner’s
cottages have been restored.
Day 3, Kruger National Park, Hazyview
Drive the short distance to the Kruger National Park for an early
morning game drive exploring the park in the hope of glimpsing Africa’s
diverse wildlife. The Kruger is home to over 500 species of birds
and 137 mammals, including the Big 5 – lion, elephant, rhino,
buffalo and leopard.
Day 4, Kruger National Park, Hazyview
This morning you have the opportunity to try one of the optional
activities in the region such as white water rafting on the Sabie
River or horse riding, before heading back into Kruger for an afternoon
game drive and sundowners in the bush.
Day 5, Transfer
After a final breakfast, you are transferred to the airport to meet
your connecting flight where the tour ends.
