From
a spectacular base on the banks of the mighty Zambezi near the Victoria
Falls, enjoy a unique animal encounter and ride an African elephant
through the bush. Add a river cruise Botswana’s Chobe National
Park for top game viewing to see more elephant in their natural
environment.
Day
1, Livingstone
Upon arrival in Livingstone you will be met and transferred to your
accommodation, which is in a stunning location on the banks of the
mighty Zambezi River. In the afternoon join a sunset cruise on the
upper reaches of the river for game viewing and a buffet dinner.
Enjoying a few sundowners as you watch the hippos and crocodiles
languish nearby, is the perfect start to your wildlife safari.
Day
2, Livingstone, Victoria Falls
This morning we take a morning game drive to the Zambezi National
Park in search of plains game and possibly rhino, before an afternoon
visit to the mighty Victoria Falls, locally known as the Mosi au
Tunya - the ‘smoke that thunders’. Victoria Falls is
the ‘adventure capital’ of Africa with a multitude of
optional activities and there is also the time to try bungy jumping,
horse riding, or golf.
Day
3, Livingstone, elephant back safari
Today we go on elephant back safari and seeing the African landscape
from the top of an elephant is an exhilarating experience. Once
we have completed our walk, there is time to experience some interaction
with the elephants and learn more about these fascinating creatures.
Day
4, Chobe National Park
Today you are transferred across the border to neighbouring Botswana
to the Chobe National Park where you can relax by the terrace swimming
pool at our lodge.
Day
5, Chobe National Park
We go on a morning game drive to hopefully spot large numbers of
elephant for which Chobe is famous for, as well as predators such
as lion. On an afternoon game cruise, you’ll see elephant
and buffalo come down for their evening drink, and hippo and crocodile
are prevalent in the shallows. Watching the sun slide down over
the tranquil riverside setting of tangled trees and grassy plains
is another Chobe treat.

6, Transfer
You are transferred back to Livingstone where the tour ends.
