visit to South Africa is complete without seeing the big game of
Kruger, and what better way to get close to the game then on a walking
safari.
Day
1, Greater Kruger National Park, private reserve
From Johannesburg, we head towards southern Africa’s premier
national park, Kruger. The fences between borders and private game
reserves on the fringes of Kruger have been taken down to form the
Greater Kruger National Park giving you greater opportunity of seeing
not only the Big 5 but many of Kruger’s equally interesting
smaller animals and birds. We enter a private reserve and enjoy
a late afternoon game walk and a night game drive in the search
of the nocturnal creatures and night time predators.

Day 2 - 3, Greater Kruger National Park
Over the next two days the emphasis is placed on experiencing Africa’s
wilderness on foot. Besides tracking the Big 5, these trails also
provide an insight into nature’s finer details. We gain knowledge
of spoor, bird and tree identification, and discover many interesting
tales of the bushveld. Our mornings are spent on early walks, while
the evenings are spent on night drives and enjoying the tranquil
bush atmosphere around a log fire.

4, Johannesburg
We are up at sunrise again for an early morning game walk before
transferring back to Johannesburg.
