Acacia operates a huge range of short game safaris to many of Africa’s premier game parks. Travel with knowledgeable and experienced guides who share their wealth of knowledge not only about the Big 5 - lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo - but of the smaller animals, prolific birdlife, trees and plants. Some of our safaris visit the well-known game reserves such as the Masai Mara, Serengeti and Kruger, while others take you to the less visited parks such as Lake Manyara, South Luangwa, Kafue and Samburu National Parks. These safaris are ideal for those who are short on time but still want to experience the magic of Africa’s game reserves, many of them can be easily combined giving you the opportunity to create the perfect safari.
Africa has some outstanding scenery, natural wonders and amazing plant and animal life, and there is no better way of exploring these than by foot. Acacia offer a range of walking safaris operated with highly experienced guides and trackers. Walking destinations on offer include, game walking in the Greater Kruger National Park, Okavango Delta, South Luangwa NP, Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area . Africa is also the location of some of the best mountain trekking in the world, and the most famous of all is Mount Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest mountain at 19,340ft (5,895 metres) which can be attempted by anyone of reasonable fitness. The reward from the summit is certainly inspirational. Other treks include the Moroccan High Atlas, Mount Kenya and the Drakensberg in South Africa
