How long have you been working for Acacia: Since 2005 for Small Groups and then since 2009 on Overland

What is your favorite Acacia tour, highlights and activities: There are so many to choice from… Nairobi to Dar – KTA13 would have to be on top. Highlighting Serengeti and Masai Mara – seeing the migration move is incredible! Secondly, the Desert Walk in Namibia and the Okavango Delta flight. The view from the plane of the waterways and animals is truly a spectacular sight!

What is your favorite country and your top highlight of this country: The whole continent, but if I have to choice … Namibia! The game drive in Etosha National Park and the flood lit water holes at the camp site… Watching the rhinoceros, Elephants, Girafffe, gazelles and lions all take in turns drinking at the waterholes. Great for photo moments!
If you could choose a favorite activity and game park what would it be: I really enjoy the desert walk in Namibia at Sossusvlei, Deadsvlei. A truly amazing experience! The most spectacular National Park certainly is Ngorongoro Crater. It has it’s own eco system. Game viewing is truly amazing!

What are some of the common misconceptions about Africa that passengers have: I always have a giggle about this one… That it does not rain in Africa!

What travel tip would you give to first time overlander’s: Go out and enjoy it! It will change your life and Africa does get under your skin.

Where would you like to see Acacia travel to in the future and why: I really want Acacia to grow in strength to strength and to add more countries to our list we have. Angola, Mozambique, West Africa. Why not?
