Zanzibar Island Getaway with Acacia Africa

Day 1 – 3 Zanzibar, Nungwi Beach
On arrival into Zanzibar you are transferred to Nungwi Beach in the north of the island. Check in to your hotel and then relax on the beach, dip in the warm Indian Ocean, try your hand at snorkelling or scuba diving (if qualified), book a boat cruise or deep sea fishing. The palm-fringed island of Zanzibar is one of Africa’s most evocative destinations, where it is impossible not to relax, sip a cocktail and watch the sunset over the water while you decide on dinner.

Day 4 Stone Town
This morning you are transferred south to your hotel in the ‘Spice Island’s’ capital of Stone Town. Here you can explore the intriguing and quaint alleyways and marketplace, admire the white-sailed dhows (sailing vessels) at the waterfront, or optionally take a tour of Zanzibar’s spice plantations or the former slaving caves.

Day 5 Zanzibar
From Stone Town , you are transferred back to the airport for your homeward journey.
